Hello! We invite you to Ningen Fest – an international festival of independent animation under the open sky. We have gathered the best contemporary animated films from around the world to show them to you in the darkness of the night on a big screen.
The program is designed for adults, 18+. It features various genres of animation, from comedy to horror.
You can expect:
A friendly and creative atmosphere;
Watching animated films in an outdoor cinema on the cozy meadow of Kalemegdan under the night sky;
Lounge area;
Lectures and workshops;
Music, fair, food court, and bars.
What language is the program in? The films are in different languages, but all of them have subtitles in Serbian and English.

The festival will be held on September 21-22, 2024, in the evening and at night.

A ticket of any category grants access to the festival grounds, animated program screenings, lectures, and masterclasses.
Invite your friends, we have group tickets for 4 people: it's cheaper than buying tickets individually.
Yes. After entering the festival grounds (receiving and putting on your wrist a special bracelet), you can enter the festival grounds without restrictions. The bracelet must remain intact.
Yes, but only if tickets are still available (not sold out). Tickets at the entrance will be more expensive than in the pre-sale.
If it is possible for you to leave your four-legged friend at home, please do so!
We are not against animals, but having many of them at the festival causes inconvenience for other visitors and for you personally.
They might be scared of large crowds and loud noises, become agitated, bite even their owners, and scare other visitors. Additionally, pets require constant supervision. You cannot simply tie them to the nearest pole or tree and leave.
However, if you decide to bring your pet despite our request, please keep it on a leash at all times. You must clean up after your pet.

All animated films with text will be accompanied by subtitles in Serbian and English. The original voiceover will remain as intended by the author.

We won't be able to shelter all visitors from the rain, so we recommend bringing raincoats and warm clothes.

There is a drinking fountain with clean water in the park, which will be available to everyone.

Yes, but there are no designated smoking areas. We kindly ask you to ensure that cigarette smoke does not bother those around you. If others ask you to move away, please listen to them. It won't take long.

There is no separate parking for our festival, but there is public parking near Kalemegdan where you can leave your car. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of free spaces, so we recommend using public transport.
Of course, we will be happy to help you get to Kalemegdan from the nearest streets! However, please email us in advance at ningenfest@gmail.com with your planned arrival time and where you will arrive. Our volunteers will escort you from there.
